LAHORE: A 16-year-old boy was fatally struck by a speeding car while crossing the road near the G.T road toll plaza in Shahkot on Monday morning.
According to rescue officials, the accident occurred when the car, travelling on the wrong side of a one-way road, collided with the pedestrian while he was crossing. Despite immediate medical attention, the teenager succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Promptly responding to the incident, law enforcement authorities reached the site and apprehended the driver of the vehicle.
