FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) on Thursday released the outcomes of the 2023 annual Second Intermediate Examinations.

The results reveal that 62% of students unfortunately experienced failure for the second consecutive time.

The Controller of Examinations at the Faisalabad Education Board noted that the success ratio portrays a daunting scenario, with only 38.79% of candidates achieving passing grades. Of the 24,033 male and female students who participated in these examinations, only 9,322 candidates overcame the academic hurdles.

This outcome underscores the necessity for a thorough evaluation of the academic landscape, prompting educators and students to reflect on potential areas for improvement.

The Faisalabad BISE results act as a call to action, necessitating a collective effort from the education community to identify and rectify challenges contributing to such outcomes. As educators and students process this information, it presents an opportunity to foster a culture of learning, resilience, and proactive intervention, aiming for improved academic performance in future endeavors.
