ISLAMABAD: Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA) on Friday opened a solo exhibition by renowned artist Hussain Jamil titled, “A Mirror’s Tale”.

The event hosted by the Visual Arts Division, highlights the captivating journey of perception and artistic intrigue.

The highly anticipated event is showcasing Jamil’s masterful manipulation of reflective surfaces.

Ambassador of Morocco to Pakistan Mohamed Karmoune, and Director-General of PNCA, Ayoub Jamali inaugurated the exhibition.

The event received an enthusiastic reception, marking a significant cultural moment in the capital.

The exhibition is being held at the Grand Hall and Gallery 1 of the PNCA. Hussain Jamil in a video message on the occasion conveyed his appreciation for PNCA and its patrons through offering insights into his works while expressing admiration for the institution.

Jamil’s work is more than arrangements of reflective materials rather it is symphonies of storytelling, that whisper tales of intrigue and depth.

The artist in his message welcomed the visitors to a mesmerizing journey through the realms of perception and illusion.

He added that his art aims to explore the multifaceted nature of reality, where reflections become gateways to understanding the layers that cover human perceptions.

Ayoub Jamali, Director-General of PNCA in his remarks invited art enthusiasts, patrons, and the curious-minded to immerse themselves in this collection. He said Hussain Jamil’s profound artistic expression captures the beauty found in imperfections.

The exhibition will run until January 20th, offering a unique opportunity to engage with the art of Hussain Jamil.

The Visual Arts Division is also planning to host an artist talk by Hussain Jamil, offering a complementary insight into his works and artistic journey.
