The Islamic Resistance in Iraq, claimed responsibility for the attack, stating that it targeted a “vital objective” in Israel. The military’s statement revealed that a flying object launched from east of Israel struck a building in Eilat. Sirens sounded in the city, but there was no interception by air defences.
