Afghanistan Beat Pakistan for Second Time in T20 Cricket

SHARAJAH: Afghanistan cricket team beat green shirts in the 2nd T20 of the series to clinch a landmark series victory against the neighbors.
Afghanistan’s Rahmanullah Gurbaz made 44 off 49 balls with help of 2 fours and 1 six. Nasim Shah sent him back to the pavilion. Similarly, Ibrahim Zadran scored 38 runs off 40 balls with help of 3 fours.

Pak-Afghan Cricket Updates

Earlier, Pakistan set a target of 131-run for Afghanistan in the 2nd T20 international of the three matches series in Sharjah on Sunday.

Pakistan cricket team won the toss and decided to bat first and made 130-6 in total 20 overs. Imad Wasim made his maiden T20 fifty and remained unbeaten on 64 runs with the help of 3 fours and 2 sixes.

Skipper Shadab Khan also flaked in with a key contribution of 32 score on just 25 balls. Shadab and Imad added 66 runs in 54 balls for the 6th wicket partnership to help green shirts post a good total on the board. Afghanistan Fazalhaq Farooqi took two wickets against Pakistan.
There was only one change Pakistan side as Mohammad Nawaz has replaced with Faheem Ashraf in the team. The third T20 of the series will be played on March 27, at Sharjah.
