Afghanistan Should Take Action Against TTP: Pakistan

ISLAMABAD:  Pakistan said on Thursday that Afghanistan should take action against TTP leadership and terrorists in Afghanistan.

Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said at the weekly media briefing, “Pakistan has no intention to hold talks with banned TTP.” She made the remarks in response of Afghan Deputy Foreign Minister regarding talks with banned TTP.  The spokesperson said that investigations are underway to bring perpetrators of Dasu attack to justice. She said, “Pakistan will raise the matter with Kabul if Afghanistan was found involve in Dasu attack.”

Responding to a question, she said that Pakistan strongly condemned all forms of terrorism and vowed to completely eradicate terrorism from the country.

Replying to another question, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that a Chinese security delegation visited Pakistan after Daus attack. She added that the aim of the visit to ensure the security of Chinese citizens in Pakistan.  She further said that no date has yet been finalized regarding the visit of Prime Minister to China.
