Afridi Joins 100 Club in Pakistan Super League

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has achieved a major milestone in the Pakistan Super League Season 9 by becoming the 3rd bowler to secure 100 wickets in the event, local media reported on Thursday. The Lahore Qalandars’ captain reached the milestone when he had dismissed Naseem Shah at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Former cricketer Wahab Riaz is leading the club with 113 wickets in Pakistan Super League. Wahab Riaz was the first bowler to achieve 100 wickets in Pakistan Super League’s history. Hasan Ali is on the second position with 107 wickets. He has reached the three-figure mark by dismissing Islamabad United’s Alex Hales in the ongoing season.

Islamabad United’s captain Shadab Khan is at 4th place with 87 wickets while his fellow Faheem Ashraf is at 5th spot with 73 scalps in his bag.
