ISLAMABAD: Renowned singer Aima Baig has stirred controversy by alleging that emerging music sensation Nehaal Naseem has copied her style entirely “From Head to Toe”.

During a recent appearance on a podcast, Aima Baig discussed the landscape of Pakistani music, naming both underrated and overrated artists. When the conversation turned to Nehaal Naseem, Baig expressed her belief that the young singer had mimicked her persona extensively.

Baig asserted that while female artists in Pakistan are often underrated, Nehaal Naseem has garnered attention for her uncanny resemblance to Baig herself. She recalled witnessing Naseem’s early career and noted that the newcomer’s sound closely mirrors her own.

Aima Baig Proud of Inspiring Others

The “Khul Ke Khel” singer emphasized her pride in inspiring others but maintained that Naseem’s imitation of her was blatant, stating, “She literally, like totally copied me from head to toe.”

Despite the imitation, Baig expressed a sense of accomplishment in influencing Naseem’s style, deeming it an achievement that someone would seek to emulate her.

Nehaal Naseem, 18, has recently gained widespread acclaim for her viral song “Sadqay”. However, Baig’s remarks have sparked debate within the music industry, prompting discussions about originality and artistic integrity.
