Aleem Khan Calls for Fostering Pakistan’s Economy

ISLAMABAD: President Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) Abdul Aleem Khan on Wednesday stressed the need for fostering the country’s economy.

Speaking to the media, flanked by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Naveed Qamar and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ahsan Iqbal, Aleem Khan said that they would play its role in the new government with honesty.

He said that the poor people were facing severe hardships. There was a dire need to uplift the country’s economy. The upcoming government should have to show mercy to the people.

Aleem Khan said that IPP will support the candidates for the slots of prime minister, speaker, and deputy speaker in the National Assembly.

Unemployment, Inflation in Pakistan

Meanwhile, PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal resolved to end unemployment and inflation in the country.

He said that they will overcome the challenges by joining hands together. The next government will play its role in stabilizing Pakistan’s economy.

PPP leader Naveed Qamar stressed the need for reconciliation, saying that they will vote for the senate chairman, deputy chairman, speaker, and deputy speaker of the National Assembly.

Earlier, PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif said that Shehbaz Sharif is the best choice for the prime minister slot.

Addressing the parliamentary meeting, the three-time prime minister expressed hope that the country would be out of the quagmire within 2 years. Nawaz said that Shehbaz Sharif has handled government affairs in a good way for the sixteen months of his tenure.
