ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Caretaker Minister for Religious Affairs Aneeq Ahmed Friday said that all possible facilities will be provided to pilgrims during this year’s hajj.
Talking to media, he said that under the supervision of the Pakistan Hajj mission special catering companies were being arranged to feed pilgrims under a government scheme and will ensure quality standards at every step.
He said that special training programs were also being organized at the district level through camps managed by the ministry of religious affairs to facilitate pilgrims.
All Facilities to be Ensured for Pilgrims Intending Hajj 2024: Pakistan Minister
Pakistani Minister said that this year Pakistan Hajj mission is offering simplified transportation services to Pakistani pilgrims with standard buses ensuring round-the-clock, saying that, the transport department will dedicate themselves to the sacred duty.
The Minister said that comprehensive transportation guidelines have also been issued at each building. The government of Pakistan had also introduced several new services for the pilgrims to help them perform the rituals with comfort, the minister maintained.
He said that every pilgrim will receive a specially designed bag featuring the Pakistani flag, a QR code for easy identification, and relevant information. He added that the government had launched a dedicated mobile app for online registration of Hajj applications.
