The 145th birth anniversary of Philosopher poet, Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal is being observed with national zeal and fervor on Wednesday.
Various literary, political, social, and cultural organizations have arranged special programs to pay homage to the national poet and to highlight his life and thoughts.

The investiture ceremony of the change of guard will be held at the mausoleum of Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal in Lahore on Monday.
Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif restored the public holiday on Iqbal Day. He also issued instructions to celebrate the birth anniversary of a national poet in a grand manner.
The Prime Minister formed a 22-member national committee under the leadership of Senator Irfan Siddiqui to complete this task.
He said Allama Iqbal’s life, thoughts, movement, poetry, and philosophy should be highlighted in the whole month of November: Prime Minister’s instructions
