American Actress Cindy Morgan Dies at 69

LOS ANGELES: American actress Cindy Morgan, known for appearing in movies like Caddyshack and Tron, has died at the age of 69.

A representative for Palm Beach County confirmed to local media that Morgan died in the area due to natural causes. No further details are given about her death.

She was born as Cynthia Ann Cichorski in Chicago, Illinois. Morgan started her career as a radio DJ and television weather reporter before doing commercials. She took her stage name from a story she had read about Morgan le Fay of Arthurian legend.

Morgan started appearing in movies with her first onscreen role as Lacey Underall in the 1980 comedy Caddyshack.

Two years later, she played the role of programmer Dr. Lora Baines and her digital alter ego Yori in the hit Tron.

In addition to her movie roles, Morgan worked in popular TV shows including The Love Boat, Chips, Falcon Crest, Matlock and The Larry Sanders Show.
