ANF Recovers 76 Kg Drugs in 11 Operations Across Pakistan

RAWALPINDI: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) while conducting eleven operations across Pakistan managed to recover 76 kg of drugs, and 580 litres of liquor and arrested 15 accused, said an ANF Headquarters spokesperson on Tuesday.

He further informed that 1.4 kg of Ice from a passenger en route to Doha at Lahore Airport, as well as the apprehension of three passengers at Islamabad Airport carrying 1.1 kg of ketamine, 201 grams of heroin, and 969 grams of caffeine intended for Malaysia.

At Peshawar Airport, 290 grams of heroin were discovered in the possession of a passenger bound for Bahrain.

Furthermore, significant quantities of hashish and liquor were seized in various locations, including Lasbela and the Panjgur area. The operations also led to the discovery of concealed drugs, such as 59 heroin-filled capsules within the stomachs of two suspects near M-1 Motorway Islamabad.

All detained individuals face charges under the Anti-Narcotics Act, with investigations underway to uncover further details surrounding the illicit drug trade.
