ANF Recovers Huge Quantity of Drugs

ISLAMABAD: Five drug dealers were detained by the Anti-Narcotic Force (ANF), which has been conducting countrywide crackdowns on those who smuggle illicit items, and a significant amount of drugs were found in their possession.

A spokeswoman for the ANF reported that the force detained two drug dealers and seized 72 kg of hashish from a pickup truck near the Karachi Toll Plaza Super Highway.

An accused person traveling to Bahrain on flight number GF 791 had 84 heroin capsules removed from his stomach by the authorities at Faisalabad Airport.

A Nigerian traveler returning home on Flight No. QR 615 had one heroin capsule found in his stomach by the ANF at Islamabad International Airport.

In another operation, the police in the area of Attock Salar Chowk detained the suspect and detained 2 kg of hashish. ANF and FC worked together to recover 35 kg of hashish from plastic bags at the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Khyber. All arrested suspects have cases filed against them under the Anti-Narcotics Act.
