NEW YORK: Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie has undergone a remarkable transformation to portray the legendary opera singer Maria Callas in the upcoming biographical film ‘Maria,’ directed by Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Pablo Larrain.
Following his biographical dramas ‘Jackie’ and ‘Spencer,’ which explored the lives of Jacqueline Kennedy and Princess Diana respectively, Larrain is now delving into the captivating story of the controversial opera diva, Maria Callas.
The official description of the film reads, “Based on true events, ‘Maria’ tells the tumultuous, beautiful, and tragic story of the life of the world’s greatest opera singer, relived and re-imagined during her final days in 1970s Paris.”
Angelina Jolie’s Unrecognizable Appearance
