ANKARA: Turkiye’s President Tayyip Erdogan has expressed his ongoing willingness to mediate between Ukraine and Russia for a “fair” peace between the two nations, a text of his comments en route from a visit to Egypt showed on Thursday.

Turkish media also cited Erdogan as saying Ankara has achieved tangible results for peace in Ukraine-Russia war.

Erdogan said that they have brought the parties together in Turkiye on several occasions. He added that they could do this again and open the door to peace through a solution-focused process management, free from all external influences.
