ISLAMABAD: The leaders of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, including Engineer Mushtaq Ahmad Shah, Muhammad Shafi Dar, and Syed Ejaz Rahmani have strongly criticized India’s prohibition of the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference (JKMC) in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu Kashmir (IIOJK) as well as the charges leveled against Kashmiri activists and leaders Abdul Hameed Lone under the Unlawful Activities Act.
Ejaz Rehmani denounced the baseless accusations against Sarjan Barkati and Abdul Hameed Lone along with the orders from the government to seize the homes and properties of Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders.
Engineer Mushtaq emphasized that these actions are rooted in baseless cases initiated by Indian authorities in the occupied region. His condemnation highlights broader concerns regarding the Indian government’s use of unlawful tactics to suppress political opposition in Jammu and Kashmir. —APP
