ISLAMABAD: Apple has a plan to buy the latest image sensors from Sony for the iPhone 15.

With the Sony Semiconductor Solutions sensor, the saturation signal level in each pixel is approximately doubled.

Thanks to the technology, the dynamic range is expanded, the light sensitivity is increased, and the noise level is reduced, which leads to better images, reports MacRumors. For instance, even in situations with intense backlighting, it may capture a person’s face more accurately.

At the same time, the technology has yet to be used in any of Sony’s gadgets. It is currently unknown if Apple will implement the new sensor technology across all iPhone 15 models or only the more expensive Pro versions.

Recently, it was reported that the new iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will have touch buttons for adjusting the volume and turning on smartphones.
