LONDON: Apple revealed the new iPad Pro and iPad Air 2024 with the latest and exciting updates in a ‘Let Loose’ event.
The new iPad Pro comes in two sizes, 11-inch and 13-inch, priced at $999 and $1,299 respectively. Apple has placed a strong emphasis on display quality, introducing a high-quality OLED display for the first time in iPad history. Additionally, the device boasts the thinnest design ever produced by Apple, measuring just 5.1mm thick.
Powered by the cutting-edge M4 chip built on a 3-nanometer process, the iPad Pro promises up to 4x faster performance in rendering apps like Octane while consuming only a quarter of the power compared to the latest PC chips. Other notable updates include a new landscape camera with 12MP resolution for enhanced video calls and support for the new Apple Pencil Pro.
On the other hand, the iPad Air 2024 features the M2 chip and comes in two sizes, 11-inch and 13-inch, priced at $599 and $799 respectively. While it retains LED display technology, the device has received an upgrade in its camera department with the introduction of a new landscape 12MP Ultra Wide front camera. Similar to the iPad Pro, the iPad Air also supports the new Apple Pencil Pro and is compatible with the older Magic Keyboard.
