CAIRO: The Arab Parliament has welcomed the decision of Bahamas to recognize the State of Palestine, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.
The parliament said that the development is a significant success for the Palestinian cause and diplomacy, especially as the occupying entity is targeting the territory with plans to wipe it out.
The parliament in a statement urged countries that have not yet recognized the Palestinian state to take this move as early as possible. It also called on the global community and all countries to support the Palestinian people and their just cause.
