LOS ANGELES: Ariana Grande, one of the world’s best-selling music artists, has filed for divorce after two years of marriage with Dalton Gomez, Western media reported on Monday.
The American singer termed irreconcilable differences the reason for her divorce from Gomez a real estate agent.
Family law attorney Laura Wasser is representing Grande, 33, in the divorce case.
Grande and Gomez, publicly acknowledged their relationship with the release of her 2020 song “Stuck with U,”. Gomez was featured in the video of the song. Later they announced their engagement.
Rumors about their break-up began in July when the singer was spotted without her wedding band while attending an event.
She also deleted photos of her private wedding event with Dalton from her social media account.
Grande last posted a photo with Gomez on her social media in November last year, but they kept their relationship out of the spotlight.
She is an influential figure in modern popular music and is often viewed as a pop culture icon, she is famous for her four-octave vocal range and whistle register that has gathered wide critical acclaim.
