Australian Envoy Visits Lahore’s Qaddafi Stadium to Watch PSL Match

LAHORE: The Australian High Commissioner Neil Hawkins on Monday arrived at Qaddafi Stadium Lahore on the invitation of Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi to watch the PSL match between Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators.

The chief minister warmly welcomed Hawkins, while the diplomat congratulated him on his appointment as Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Hawkins also appreciated Naqvi for successfully organizing the Pakistan Super League 9th edition.

He said that watching cricket in Qaddafi Stadium in Lahore was a great experience for him.

The high commissioner thanked Naqvi for the invitation to the stadium.

On the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi said that the people of Pakistan and Australia loved cricket. It was a game of peace.

CM Wishes to See Australian Team in Pakistan

The CM said that he wanted the Australian cricket team to visit Pakistan for a series.

Caretaker provincial ministers Mansoor Qadir, Amir Mir, Azfar Ali Nasir, COO PCB Salman Naseer, Political Secretary Australian High Commissioner, and other officials were also present.
