Australian High Commissioner Visits Police Offices in Lahore

LAHORE: Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan Neil Hawkins visited different police offices in Lahore on Tuesday.

The high commissioner visited Police Khidmat Markaz Mega Center Aabshar along with IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar.

IG Punjab briefed Hawkins on the service delivery of modern policing projects in the province.

The high commissioner also visited Special Initiative Police Station Gulberg and Liberty Khidmat Markaz.

ASP Gulberg Sayyida Seherbano Naqvi briefed him about the available facilities in the center.

On the occasion, IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar said that police were effectively utilizing digital technology to provide policing services to the citizens.

He said that all police stations in Punjab had been converted to Special Initiative Protocol. The police structure has been adapted to the necessities of modern times through Police Khidmat Centers, Safe Cities, and Smart Police Stations.

Australian High Commissioner Commends Upgradation of Police Stations

The high commissioner commended the upgradation and service delivery of Punjab police offices and stations.

He said that the cooperation in the areas of training and information sharing with Punjab police would be enhanced.
