ISLAMABAD: Pakistan skipper and batting genius Babar Azam is on the verge of achieving another milestone in the world of T20I cricket, that would take him surpassing Indian batters Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
Currently, the batting maestro, Babar Azam has 3,823 runs on board in T20I cricket with the number three slot on the list of most runs.

Pakistan is all set to play a total of seven T20Is against Ireland and England this month, which would provide a golden opportunity for the Pakistani skipper to challenge the two Indian batters and surpass them.
Babar Azam requires just 151 runs to equal the runs scored by Rohit Sharma, and 215 runs to surpass Virat Kohli.

Meanwhile, the green shirts left for Dublin, Ireland, from Lahore via Dubai on Tuesday to begin their season including the mega ICC event.
Pakistan would play three T20Is in Ireland, followed by four contests of the short format in England. After the England series, the Pakistani team would leave for the United States to take part in the T20 World Cup to be kicked off in June.
