Bahrain National Guard Commander Meets Pakistan Air Force Chief, Praises PAF Progress

ISLAMABAD: Commander of the Bahrain National Guard General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Isa Bin Salman Al-Khalifa visited to Air Headquarters in Islamabad on Thursday, where he met with Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu.

During the meeting, he commended the exceptional professionalism of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) personnel and acknowledged the remarkable progress achieved by the PAF, stated a statement from the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), military media affairs wing.

They discussed various areas of mutual interest aimed at enhancing government-to-government cooperation, particularly in emerging technologies such as drone technology and collaboration within the Cyber and Networking domains.

On this occasion, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu emphasized the strong brotherly relations between Pakistan and Bahrain.

General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Isa Bin Salman Al-Khalifa also visited the PAF Cyber Command, where he received a briefing on the operational capabilities of the Pakistan Air Force.

Expressing keen interest in PAF’s advancements in the Cyber domain, he expressed his intention to send a specialized team to assess and address any existing gaps within Bahrain Armed Forces’ emerging technologies architecture.

The Air Chief assured General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Isa Bin Salman Al-Khalifa of PAF’s full cooperation and pledged support in strengthening the technological frameworks of the Bahrain Armed Forces.
