Balochistan Assembly Denounces May 9 Attacks as Plot Against State

QUETTA: Balochistan’s Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Ahmed Bugti said on Thursday that the Balochistan Assembly unanimously denounced the events of 9th May, labeling the attack as a rebellion against the state and its institutions.

Speaking at the assembly session, the Chief Minister said that the occurrences of 9th May were part of an organized conspiracy.

Bugti said that on that day, there was a deliberate plan to incite the public against the state and the Pakistan Army. Following the condemnable incidents, the individuals involved were asked to adhere to due process.

Chief Minister Bugti expressed support for legal action against those responsible for the 9th May attack, stressing the importance of bringing them to justice.

Regarding the public response to the May events, Bugti remarked that the people of Balochistan unequivocally reject the riots of 9th May. He emphasized that the citizens of Balochistan stand in solidarity with the Pakistan Army and its institutions.
