LONDON: Britain’s royal family has made a big announcement about King Charles amid the latest foreign conspiracy theory related to the monarch’ death and health, which set internet and social media on fire.

Taking to X, and Instagram, the Palace shared King Charles’s fresh pictures and revealed that on Tuesday he met veterans of the Korean War at Buckingham Palace.

The announcement said: “The King held a meeting with veterans of the Korean War at Buckingham Palace this morning to commemorate the 70 years since the signing of the ceasefire which ended the conflict.”

The caption of the post further said, “60,000 service people from across Commonwealth and Britain saw action, with 1,100 losing their lives.”

Later on, a reception was hosted at the Palace by Princess Royal and the Duchess of Edinburgh on behalf of King Charles to mark the anniversary of “the Forgotten War”. Earlier, the palace refuted a report from a Russian news organization regarding the Charles’s death.

Responding to the report, an announcement was made by the Palace on Monday stating: “We are pleased to confirm that The King is carrying on with both official and private engagements.”
