ISLAMABAD: The registration process in the National Socio-Economic Registry survey of the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) is successfully continued across Pakistan through the registration centers set up by the Tehsil offices of the Program.

This was stated by the Director General of National Socio-Economic Registry BISP, Naveed Akbar, in a video message released through a social media platform.

The DG said that the citizens belonging to the low-income groups can register with the Program by visiting the registration centers open from Monday to Saturday.

They are required to bring Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) and B-Forms of children for registration purposes.

He said that the citizens are required to bring gas or electricity bills so that we can enter these bills in the database for a subsidy if announced by the government in the future.

The DG NSER urged people to provide their accurate data at the time of registration, stating that those who provide false information will never be allowed to become part of the Program.

Complaints to BISP

In case of any complaint about the Program, the citizens can contact the toll-free number 0800-26477 and the official social media accounts of BISP. We are ready to resolve the issues and complaints of the people in the shortest possible time, he added.

The DG said that we encourage not only the poor segments of the society to participate in the survey but also the upper middle, middle class, and lower class to compile their data.

He added that the compilation of their data will help the government provide them any subsidy or facility in any emergency situation in the future on the basis of their socio-economic data.
