ISLAMABAD: Unofficial results have started pouring in from various constituencies after polling for the by-elections on eight National Assembly and three Punjab Assembly seats ended amid strict security measures on Sunday (today).
The polling began at 8:00 am and culminated at 5:00 pm.
ECP Says Polling Process Remains Peaceful
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) said that overall, the polling process remained peaceful, and the commission’s central control room received 15 complaints of code violations.
There are eight National Assembly and three Punjab Assembly sets on which the by-elections are being held today.
The National Assembly constituencies are NA-22 (Mardan-III); NA-24 (Charsadda-II); NA-31 (Peshawar-V); NA-108 (Faisalabad-VIII); NA-118 (Nankana Sahib-II); NA-237 (Malir-II); NA-239, (Korangi), Karachi-I; and NA 157 (Multan-IV).

The provincial constituencies are PP-139 (Sheikhupura-V); PP-209 (Khanewal VII); and PP-241 (Bahawalnagar-V).
By-elections: Unofficial Results of Eight NA, Three Punjab Assembly Seats
ISLAMABAD: The polling time for the crucial by-elections on eight National Assembly and three Punjab Assembly ended after the polling was held here today from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm without any hindrance. The counting of votes is underway as results are pouring in.
The constituencies where polling is taking place are:
NA-22 Mardan-III, NA-24 Charsadda-II, NA-31 Peshawar-V, NA-108 Faisalabad-VIII, NA-118 Nankana Sahib -II, NA 157 Multan-IV, NA-237 Malir-II, NA-239 Korangi, Karachi-I.
The unofficial results of Constituencies are as follows:
NA-22 Mardan-III
According to unofficial and unconfirmed results, PTI Chairman Imran Khan is leading with 6081 votes whereas PDM candidate Maulana Mohammad Qasim is behind with 5989 votes.
NA-31 Peshawar-V
According to unofficial and unconfirmed results, PTI Chairman Imran Khan is leading with 23130 votes whereas ANP candidate Haji Ghulam Ahmad Bilour is trailing behind with 12334 votes.
NA-24 Charsadda-II
According to unofficial and unconfirmed results, PTI Chairman Imran Khan is leading with 9985 votes whereas ANP candidate Aimal Wali Khan is behind with 9361 votes.
NA-237 Malir-II
According to unofficial and unconfirmed results, PTI Chairman Imran Khan is leading with 3378 votes whereas PPP candidate Abdul Hakeem Baloch is behind with 2492 votes.
NA-239 Korangi, Karachi-I
According to unofficial and unconfirmed results, PTI Chairman Imran Khan is leading with 1063 votes whereas MQM-P candidate Nayyar Raza is behind with 194 votes.
NA-118 Nankana Sahib-II
According to unofficial and unconfirmed results, PTI Chairman Imran Khan is leading with 5828 votes whereas PML-N candidate Shezra Mansab Ali is behind with 4594 votes.

NA-108 Faisalabad-VIII
According to unofficial and unconfirmed results, PTI Chairman Imran Khan is leading with 12030 votes whereas PML-N candidate Abid Sher Ali is behind with 8911 votes.
NA-157 Multan-IV
According to unofficial and unconfirmed results, PPP candidate Ali Musa Gillani is leading with 14052 votes whereas PTI candidate Meharbano Qureshi is behind with 11231 votes.
