By-elections: PTI Leading on Six NA seats, PPP Secures Two Seats

ISLAMABAD: As the results continue to pour in after by-elections were held in eight constituencies of the National Assembly and three constituencies of the Punjab Assembly,

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan are leading on multiple seats and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has secured two National Assembly seats, as per the unofficial results.

Unofficial Results

According to unconfirmed and unofficial results, PTI is leading on five National Assembly seats and clinched victory in NA-31 Peshawar.

However, PPP has clinched the NA-157 Multan-IV seat, where Ali Musa Gilani has defeated Meher Bano Qu­reshi, daughter of PTI leader Shah Mah­mood Qureshi.
