JIUQUAN, China: China launched a new generation of ocean colour monitoring satellites into space on Thursday to understand marine waterways better.
The satellite successfully landed in the intended orbit after launching a Long March-2C carrier rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre in northwest China at 11:55 a.m. (Beijing Time). The Long March carrier rocket series completed 497 flying missions with this launch. —Xinhua/APP
