KARACHI: Newly-elected Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah visited Sehwan Sharif on Wednesday to offer Fatiha on the tombs of his father, former CM Sindh Abdullah Shah, and mother.
He was accompanied by PPP leaders Mukesh Chawla and Khursheed Junejo.
Murad Ali Shah also visited Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar’s shrine, Abdul Rashid Channa, CM Sindh spokesperson said.
CM Murad Ali Shah Inspects Urs Arrangements
He inspected the arrangements for the Urs of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar.
On the occasion, the CM was briefed by the Commissioner and DIG Hyderabad on the security arrangements for the Urs. They informed him that CCTV cameras had been installed to efficiently monitor the security situation during Urs.
The chief minister instructed officials to ensure the best possible facilities for the devotees.
