ISLAMABAD: Anticipate predominantly cold and dry conditions across most plains nationwide, with notably frigid temperatures in the northern regions over the next 12 hours.

Expect a likelihood of fog and smog in the upper Sindh plains of Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa during morning and night hours.

Morning temperatures in major cities were recorded as follows:

Islamabad and Peshawar at four degrees Celsius, Lahore at eight, Karachi at seventeen, Quetta at minus-one, Gilgit at minus three, Murree at zero, and Muzafarabad at three degrees Celsius.

In the weather outlook for the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir region, brace for extremely cold and dry conditions in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, alongside cold, dry weather with fog in Jammu.

Morning temperatures registered were:

Srinagar at one degree Celsius, Jammu at seven, Leh at minus nine, Pulwama at zero, Anantnag at minus-one, Shopian at minus-two, and Baramula at two degrees Celsius.
