ISLAMABAD: The upper regions of the country anticipate predominantly cold and dry conditions, with the upper areas experiencing very cold temperatures alongside partial cloud cover over the next 12 hours.

Expect lingering fog and smog in upper Sindh, the plains of Punjab, and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa during both morning and night hours.

This morning’s temperature readings in major cities were as follows:

Islamabad at three degrees Celsius, Lahore at nine, Karachi at thirteen, Peshawar at five, Quetta at one, Gilgit at minus four, Murree at one, and Muzafarabad at four degrees Celsius.

As per the weather forecast for the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir region, Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula anticipate very cold and dry weather, while Jammu expects cold, dry conditions with fog.

This morning’s recorded temperatures were:

Srinagar and Pulwama at minus two degrees Celsius, Jammu at nine, Leh at minus seven, Anantnag at zero, and Shopian and Baramula at one degree Celsius.
