Weather Update: Cold, Dry Weather Likely in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: In the upcoming 12 hours, most plain areas across the country anticipate predominantly cold and dry weather, with the northern districts expecting very cold spells accompanied by partly cloudy skies.

Fog and smog are likely to persist in the plain regions of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Sindh during both morning and night hours.

This morning’s temperature readings for major cities were as follows: Islamabad and Peshawar at five degrees Celsius, Lahore at eleven, Karachi at seventeen, Quetta at two, Gilgit at one, Murree at four, and Muzaffarabad at six degrees Celsius.

As for the weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramulla expect very cold and partly cloudy conditions, whereas Jammu anticipates partly cloudy yet cold weather.

The recorded morning temperatures were as follows: Srinagar, Anantnag, and Baramulla at minus two degrees Celsius, Jammu at ten, Leh at minus eight, and Pulwama and Shopian at minus three degrees Celsius.
