Weather Update: Cold, Dry Weather to Prevail Around Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The forecast anticipates mainly cold and dry conditions across most regions of Pakistan over the next 12 hours.

Expect potential smog and fog in the plains of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Sindh during both morning and night hours.

Here are the morning temperatures for major cities: Islamabad at seven degrees Celsius, Lahore at thirteen, Karachi at sixteen, Peshawar at nine, Quetta at three, Gilgit at minus-one, Murree at five, and Muzaffarabad at eight degrees Celsius.

As for the weather outlook in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramulla are likely to experience cold and dry conditions, while Leh is expected to be very cold and dry. The morning temperatures recorded are: Srinagar, Anantnag, and Shopian at zero degrees Celsius, Jammu at eleven, Leh at minus six, and Pulwama and Baramulla at one degree Celsius.
