Commemorating Martyrdom Anniversary of Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai in IIOJK

ISLAMABAD: Today marks the third martyrdom anniversary of senior APHC leader and Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, who devoted his life to challenging India’s illegal occupation and advocating for political justice in IIOJK.

Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai passed away in Indian captivity on May 5, 2021, leaving behind a legacy of resistance and sacrifice. APHC leaders pay glowing tribute to Shaheed Ashraf Sehrai, hailing him as a symbol of resistance and the epitome of sacrifice. They emphasize that his life, sacrifices, and relentless struggle serve as a guiding light for future generations in Kashmir.

In solidarity with the martyred leader and other Kashmiri martyrs, various Hurriyat organizations have called for a strike today. Posters displayed across the region echo the sentiment of solidarity, underscoring the continued struggle for justice and freedom in IIOJK.
