QUETTA: Two more suspected Congo virus patients have been admitted to Fatima Jinnah Chest Hospital Quetta (FJCHQ) in Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province. The number of positive cases reported this year has reached 28 in the province.
According to the hospital administration, Naseeba, 30, a resident of Loralai and Hamza, 22, a resident of Quetta, were shifted to the hospital last night in a serious condition due to the problem of bleeding from the mouth and nose.
Tests for Congo Virus
The blood samples of the patients have been sent for laboratory tests to ascertain the disease.
As many as 28 cases of Congo virus have been reported so far this year, in which twenty patients have died.
