Consumers to Get Gas Supply for Limited Hours During Ramadan

KARACHI: With less than a week left until the holy month of Ramadan, South Sui Gas Company (SSGC) announced a “load-shedding marred” supply of gas for the holy month.

In a statement, SSGC said that during Ramadan, it can only supply gas between 3 am to 9 am (Sehr) and 3 pm to 10 pm (Iftar).

Consumers in Sindh and Balochistan will have access to essential commodity for only 13 hours.

Meanwhile, Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah ordered the electricity distribution companies to ensure power during the Sehr and Iftar timings.

He was chairing a meeting regarding price control during Ramadan. Karachi Mayor Mortaza Wahab, Chief Secretary, IG Police and other senior officials were present in the meeting.

He directed K-Electric, HESCO and SEPCO to maintain power supply during the holy month.
