ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court has issued order to shift PTI founder’s wife Bushra Bibi to Adiala Jail from sub-jail at her residence in Banigala, local media reported on Wednesday. Announcing its reserved decision on Wednesday, the IHC declared null and void Islamabad administration’s notification about declaring PTI founder’s Banigala residence as a sub-jail.
IHC’s Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb announced the reserved decision. Last week, the Islamabad High Court had reserved the verdict on a petition filed by Bushra Bibi.
The IHC had reserved ruling following hearing arguments from both sides in the case. The jail official had adopted the position before IHC that overcrowding and security fears had forced them to declare Bani Gala as a sub-jail.
