DHARAMSALA, India: In their World Cup showdown on Saturday, New Zealand won the toss and elected to field against the five-time champions, Australia.
Having secured four victories out of their five games, the Black Caps, who finished as runners-up in the last two World Cups, find themselves in a strong position to reach the semi-finals. They’ve introduced one change to their lineup, replacing Mark Chapman due to a calf injury with Jimmy Neesham.
Australia, on the other hand, sees opener Travis Head making his World Cup debut, having recovered from a hand injury sustained in South Africa just before the tournament. Head takes the place of all-rounder Cameron Green.
