MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Dalip Tahil has been sentenced to two months in jail for drunk driving in Mumbai, according to reports by local media outlets.
In 2018, the actor collided with an autorickshaw, causing injuries to a 21 year old woman.
The autorickshaw was occupied by two people at the time, and they approached the actor following the incident.
The now 65-year-old attempted to escape the scene, resulting in a hit-and-run case, which led to the arrival of the police and taken him into custody.

According to a local media report, police came upon the decision taking into account the actor’s condition at the time of the accident.
