Dar interacts with Pakistani Community in Gambia

BANJUL: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held an interaction with the Pakistani community based in The Gambia, during his tour to the nation for the 15th OIC Summit, local media reported on Monday.

He apprised the Pakistani community regarding the activities of the Pakistan delegation led by him at the 15th OIC Summit, a press statement said. Ishaq Dar has emphasized his interactions and activities during the OIC summit to highlight the dispute of Kashmir and Islamophobia.

On the occasion, the members of Pakistani community have lauded Ishaq Dar for holding an interaction with them.

They also highlighted some of their concerns and shared with the Deputy PM to address them. They also presented several proposals to strengthen the bilateral ties between Gambia and Pakistan.

Honorary Consul General of Pakistan to The Gambia Keba Krubaly, Ambassador of Pakistan to Senegal accredited to The Gambia Saima Sayed and Foreign Secretary of Pakistan Ambassador Syrus Qazi were also present.
