ISLAMABAD: PTI supporters swarmed to the streets in celebration of the Supreme Court’s decision to release party chairman Imran Khan in the Al-Qadir Trust case.
The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Thursday announced that the former prime minister’s arrest was “illegal” and ordered to free him “immediately.” Soon after, the supporters and party workers backed the court’s judgment. Ex-special assistant to the prime minister on youth affairs Usman Dar urged party workers and supporters to take to the streets and show unity and gratitude to the Supreme Court.
