DI KHAN, Pakistan: A powerful explosion took place in Tank Adda in Ponda Bazar of Dera Ismail Khan (DI Khan), resulting in wounds to 10 people amid fears of casualties.
According to local media which cited the police, sounds of gunfire were also reported at the blast scene. The KP bomb disposal squad and law-enforcement agencies have arrived at the scene. Emergency measures have been enforced in DI Khan hospitals.
According to the initial report, the explosive device was planted on a motorbike.
