ISLAMABAD: Drug Regulatory Authority Of Pakistan (DRAP) on Tuesday issued an alert about Paracetamol injection, declaring it sub-standard.
DRAP said that the Paracetamol 100 ML badge number CG 170 is a sub-standard medicine and people should avoid it.
Paracetamol injection to be removed from markets
It also instructed the relevant officials to remove these medicine from the medical store across the country.
It added that in these Paracetamol injections, the black particles in the injection could be seen even with a bare eye.
It is to be noted that Paracetamol is a highly recommended medicine for fever.
