LONDON: British singer Dua Lipa has split from his French boyfriend Romain Gavras after an eight-month romance, Western media reported on Sunday.
Media quoted a source close to the couple as saying that the pair decided to part ways after a summer of love.
The source said that Lipa, 27, is currently focusing on her music career and preparing to release her third album, while Gavras, 41, who is a director is currently working on different projects. He is known for his work on music videos for artists like Kanye West and Jay-Z.
Lipa and Gavras were first seen together at Saint Laurent Paris Fashion Week show in March 2023. Later they were also seen holding hands at the Cannes Film Festival in May.

A source close to the celebrities previously said that the couple had a strong chemistry and were really happy together. According to media reports Lipa’s busy schedule and long distances ultimately ended their relationship.
Lipa is all set to release her third album next year. She is also preparing to embark on an international tour in support of the album.
Gavras is working on his next film project, which is expected to be released in 2025. Neither Lipa nor Gavras have made any statement about their split.
