ECP Redresses 45 Election-related Complaints in Karachi LG Polls

ISLAMABAD: The Central Control Room established by the Election Commission of Pakistan(ECP) has redressed as many as forty-five election-related complaints from out of 46 registered cases on Sunday while one is in process.

According to ECP, these complaints were received through phone, media, and email.

The control room has been established in Islamabad to monitor local government polls in Karachi. The control room started its work on Saturday and would remain operational till receipt of the final results.

Secretary and Special Secretary ECP monitor elections in Karachi

Senior officers of the ECP were monitoring the election process from the control room in Islamabad while the Secretary and Special Secretary ECP were watching the process from the office of Provincial Election Commission Sindh in Karachi.

According to ECP, polling-related complaints could be lodged round the clock on telephone Nos. 051-9204402, 051-9204403, 051-9210837 and 051-9210838.

The complaints could also be faxed on 051-9204404.
