LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Education Rana Sikandar Hayat has announced that education emergency is being implemented today across the province. He made the announcement during a meeting with a delegation of teachers from the After-Noon School Program.
Rana Sikandar Hayat stated that the education emergency aims to address educational deprivations of the past 76 years. He said that the PML-N government is committed to implement exemplary educational reforms. Rana Sikandar Hayat emphasized that the country will be taken out of an educational “ICU” through the education emergency.
The Minister has promised the transformation of government schools into standard schools. Furthermore, the Education Minister acknowledged the necessity of addressing teacher-related issues, ensuring a tension-free environment, and resolving their problems and legitimate demands.
The Education Minister also highlighted the crucial role of teachers in achieving the goals of the education emergency, emphasizing the need for their support.
