DUBAI: Star England batter Harry Brook, fresh off a challenging start to 2024, is determined to leave those troubles behind and contribute to his team’s defense of their title at this year’s ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

After playing a pivotal role in England’s previous T20 World Cup victory against Pakistan in 2022, the 25-year-old is eager to make his mark once more in the upcoming tournament in the USA and West Indies. Despite missing recent international action due to personal reasons, including the passing of his grandmother, Brook has been in fine form for Yorkshire in England’s County Championship.

He attributes his recent success to his late grandmother, dedicating his performances to her memory. Now, as he prepares to rejoin the England squad, Brook is focused on contributing positively and hopes to make a significant impact in the T20 World Cup, expressing his eagerness to reunite with his teammates and deliver for his country once again.
